Is Client deploy tool support multiple instances

Hi everyone,

Can we able to use client deploy tool from two different user ID’s on the same machine? I tried but nothing appears on second user id.

Currently I just have the firewall rules open on one machine to remotely deploy the clients so therefore i cant be able to use the client deploy utility from any other machine.

Can i achieve multiple instances of client deploy tool running on a single machine? or is there any other way round to simultaneously run client deploy tool on both user ID’s.

Which version of CDT are you running? I tried in my environment 9.5.2 and I’m able to start two different instances of the CDT using different users.

i have 9.5.5.193. are you running those instances on a same machine at a time ?

For 9.5.5.193 the CDT tool has been updated, please have a look at the doc:

Now, the right way to address your scenario is to run the “Install IBM
BigFix Clients with Client Deploy Tool” fixlet to deploy client computers using different users.
