Looking to get the most accurate inventory report for upper-management and its not too accurate. Would nmap be the way to go?

I’m also wondering this… Our SIO is wanting a report of all nodes (including firewalls, routers, switches, etc)… I do an nmap scan on all of our subnets but don’t see a nice canned “Hardware Inventory” report…

Hi,

what would that report ideally look like for you? Also, are you working from 7.x or 8.0? There’ve been some improvements in data display and exploration in 8.0.
