Inventory Management by TEM

I would like to use TEM to keep a record of the machines configuration (RAM, HARD DISK, PROCESSOR) integrated with TEM. The objective is to perform an initial scan and save the system configuration within the solution, not on any machine or external device. Recurrent scans are run at regular intervals and the machine configurations obtained are to be matched against the first scan that was saved by the solution. Any changes in the configuration should be alerted or highlighted by the solution.

It is important if any configuration can be done for saving the first scan within the solution. Matching the recurrent scans and alerting can be done manually if not achievable.

do able but not elegant.

basically you take what you want to be in then inventory and log it some where (on the client in a registry or file, as a besclient setting, etc ). Then you create a property for each item to look at the stored location. Then you have a report comparing the current property to the stored item. If it is different, you alert on it.
