Hi I’m Kevin from Malaysia. I’d just attend a sales enablement session on BigFix and I found that it’s really a very cool product esp since it can support win95 and above ;P. I’m wondering …no, not who still uses win95 but where I can get sample Fixlets to get a sense of how complex the scripting can get. I’m not an IT technical person but I can understand n read some basic scripting.

Thanks

KL

Hi Kevin from Malaysia,

The best way to get started is to read the PDF documentation available at http://support.bigfix.com/resources.html (in particular, find the Console user guide, the Relevance guide, and the Action Script guide). Next, you should browse the Fixlet Authoring section of this Forum. You should also find a Fixlet in the Console that interests you and review the Relevance and Action Script that it uses.

Also, note that if you use the

Fixlet Debugger

you can easily convert Relevance into an easier to read format using the “indent” button.
