We were told that we can add an IBM HMC (Hardware Management Console) to the ILMT Lite configuration via the VM Managers menu.
We hardly find any information about the topic, and that’s why we are here asking.
On random pages/forums it’s commented that the HMC can be configured on BigFix but there’s nothing of the requirements or steps to achive it. We don’t have a BigFix server, we have an ILMT Lite server and disconnected agents for AIX.
On the menu, Management > VM Managers > New > VM Manager Type, one of the options is KVM RHV-M. Can we select this option fot the physical HMC? or it must be vHMC?
We found relation between KVM RHV-M and vHMC, but nothing related between ILMT Lite, KVM and HMC.
Do anyone know where we can find information about the configuration steps?
We appreciate any support you can provide on this.
