How does this impact BigFix?
ECC requests from BigFix are connecting to this server. This change will result in connections to new IP addresses which may impact customers.

How does this affect customers?
End users may need to update their firewalls to accommodate these changes (allowing access to the new IP addresses).
Note that host names are NOT changing.

When will this change happen?
The first IP changes will occur on April 14, 2023. The remaining IP changes will occur sometime after Dec 31, 2023.

What action should you take?
You should enable ALL new IP addresses, even those IPs that are not planned to be enabled in 2023.
If these connections are not currently allowed, you must create new firewall rules that allow them to flow from the BigFix Root Server – add new firewall rules for new IPs but do NOT remove existing firewall rules for current IPs at this point. A new version of the AIX plugin will also be released before April 14, 2023. Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin after that date.
