IBM BigFix Inventory 9.5 Import Failed

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded IBM Bigfix SUA 9.2 to IBM Bigfix Inventory 9.5. After upgrade initial import was successful. After that we upgraded IBM Bigfix from 9.2 to 9.5. After Bigfix upgrade Inventory import is failing.

We have two RHEL 6.5 servers with DB2 10.1.0.5. One is Bigfix server and second one is Inventory server.

Anyone face such kind of issue with Inventory import.

Hi Sagar,

I am facing the same issue in my environment. I have recently upgraded my IBM Bigfix from 9.2 to 9.5, however my IBM Bigfix Inventory is still at 9.2.2.
As per the link below the only fix is to upgrade Bigfix Inventory.

I would appreciate if somebody was able to fix this issue without going for upgrade.

Hi Vipul,

IBM BigFix Inventory 9.2.2 it self is the version 9.5. It shows in the console as 9.2.2 but actually it is the version 9.5. You can confirm from IBM support team.

Hi Sagr,

Issues with BFI are fixed in each release of the product. Being up to date with updates is the best policy. The issue you mentioned was fixed in 9.2.6.
