How to see Linux server current Patch level

Hi, i want to see current patch level of SuSe Linux Machine via Bigfix, how i can find out what is the patch level of the SuSe11 machine?

With the 9.5 release and later this will show up as the “minor” of the OS (so you will see 12.1 etc)

With earlier releases you’d have to parse the suse-release file directly
