How to list OS product key?

We want to list OS product key.

And I found an analysis “OS Product Key - Windows”

But it just show Unknown. It seems only suitable for Win98 95 ME.

Is there an analysis to list OS product key for WinXP OR Win7?

Hi Andy,

Windows product keys or serial numbers are encrypted in later versions of Windows and we cannot read them directly using relevance.

There are 2 ways that others have handled this using an external program or VBScript.

I tried the second method.

And WinXP seems work.

But Win7 show the blank label.

Did I have to modify something or it just for WinXP.
