How to increase buffers for relevance statements using QNA

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Hello,

On a mix of NIX boxes I’m using QNA tool to test relevance and when I copy and paste from one terminal to another, I’m finding that the buffer will not allow the same amount of characters from one NIX system to the other.

Is this a function of the QNA tool that I can adjust or is this a function of the standard xterm buffer (using putty for terms)?

If so, how to increase to be able to use large relevance statements?

Thanks much,

OK…I answered my own question (basically).

since I couldn’t find anything simple on the web, I decided to try another method:

(Of course, I created a script file containing the BES qna settings named ‘runqna’)

…then

I created a text file containing the long relevance string and then did a redirect

$ /tmp/qna < myrelevance.txt

BESClientActionMastheadPath not set, using /etc/opt/BESClient/actionsite.afxm
