How do I subscribe an automatic group to a custom site?

I’ve seen this done before, but I can’t recall how I go about it.

What I’ve done is this: I created an automatic group (all systems with a certain type of OS) and I’ve created a custom site that has a whole bunch of custom security configuration related fixlets. Now, what I want to do is subscribe the automatic group to the custom site so that any time a new system that matches the OS comes online, it’s automatically subscribed to the site…

Try the following:

  • In the TEM Console, select the “All Content” domain on the bottom left.
  • Open folder Sites–>Custom Sites, then select your custom site to modify.
  • On the right hand pane, choose tab “Computer Subscriptions”.
  • Select radio button “Computers which match the condition below”.
  • For the first combo box selection, choose “Group Membership”, which is item #2 on the list.
