Help with Analysis Relevance - bes action status pending restart

I am trying to create an analysis that returns a list of all computers that are reporting as “Pending Restart”.

I create a new analysis, put in a property to return (name of current logged in user).

I then go to relevance and add just one line: “bes action status pending restart”

I propagate it and wait awhile. No computers showing (AND IT KNOW I have tons of PCs actually in that state)

For a reality check, I create yet another analysis the same way except in relevance I leave it as the default “True”. I get all my PCs showing.

Advice ?

There is a

Restart Needed

fixlet in the BES Support site. I think that should solve your problem.

Hey Ken,

The relevance should be:

pending restart

The other relevance you used

bes action status pending restart

is session relevance that is evaluated in reports and in the console when querying actions…

But Noah’s comment above is the right way to go since we already have this Fixlet in place…
