Help pushing updates to Windows 10 tablets in Kiosk & Tablet Mode

We have a bunch of Microsoft Surface Pro4’s and need to be able to remotely push a new native UWP application to all of them at one time in the field. IT works fine when we do it on these devices when they are not in Kiosk locked down mode. But, these are kiosks running in a retail setting and need to always be in kiosk and tablet mode. We are not able to successfully get Bigfix to send updates without us manually taking them out of kiosk mode first. Is there any way to do this on Bigfix without manual intervention?

It depends on how you harden and deploy. We successfully use Bigfix to deploy to hardened retail tablets running Win 10. Our approach to hardening combines AD GPOs, registry hacks, custom Powershells (run with Bigfix), and custom interface hardening (also implemented with Bigfix). We essentially made our own custom ‘kiosk’ mode as Microsoft’s didn’t suit our purposes. It allows us to fully customize to the ‘nth’ degree as required by our business partners.
