Help Creating Relay Affiliation Groups

Hello,
We are trying to setup relay affiliation groups to force some machines into using certain relays in their location over further away machines that are fewer hops. I haven’t setup relay affiliation groups before though and am having trouble setting it up.

I tried setting _BESClient_Register_Affiliation_SeekList to Southfield on a client and _BESClient_Register_Affiliation_SeekList and _BESRelay_Register_Affiliation_AdvertisementList to Southfield on a relay, but it looks like I am missing the mark here.

You only need to set the SeekList on the clients that will be seeking the relays.
You only need to set the AdvertisementList on the Relays that the clients will later be seeking.
You should also make sure that Automation Relay Selection is enabled on your clients so they can leverage the seek list.

Thanks! Yeah I had the client seek list on the relay.

It can also take a little while for the Relays new AdvertisementList to make it up to the BigFix server and back out to all the clients so they can properly seek.
