It’s almost time to say goodbye to the following non-Native Tools Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise sites that will be deprecated on January 31, 2016. To help you prepare for this migration, we have given you a head’s up with this announcement a few months ago.
- Patches for RHEL 5
- Patches for RHEL 5 Dependency Resolution
- Patches for RHEL 6 Dependency Resolution
- Patches for SLE11
BigFix Patch will no longer provide content and support for these sites and they will no longer be available on the License Overview Dashboard after January 31, 2016.
What action do I need to take?
If you haven’t done so, we encourage you to subscribe to the following non-Native Tools Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise sites.
- Patches for RHEL 5 - Native Tools site
- Patches for RHEL 6 - Native
- Tools site Patches for SLE11 - Native Tools site
Does the site deprecation cause any additional impact?
The deprecation of the sites affect the baselines and custom sites that are associated with the non-native sites. While you can still see the source Fixlets, no new content will be provided and the sites will no longer be visible in the License Overview dashboard. You must create new, separate baselines with the native tools sites.
