Getting Windows Error while Deploying IBM Endpoint Manager Client (Only Windows Machine)

Hi,

I am getting windows error while deploying IBM Endpoint Manager Client (9.1.1117.0) on the Servers.
Below are the Error messages and their codes :

Windows Error 0x40: The specified network name is no longer available.
Windows Error 0x35: The network path was not found.
Windows Error 0x5: Access is denied.
Windows Error 0x52e: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

Note : For some of the servers I’m able to ping from the Command Prompt.
Can anyone please direct me to the solution for this.
Thanks in Adv.

Prabhu

Are you running the client install manually or from task within IEM?

I’m running it manually from ROOT server

You mean you’re running the installer remotely from the ROOT server on a local machine? If so, grab the installer and masthead to the desktop of that machine and run it from there.

If not, please elaborate on what you mean.

I’m seeing the same problem with my deployment. I’m logged into the relay for that site and using the BESClientDeploy tool against a specific list of systems in that domain. I’m using an administrator account in the BESClientDeploy tool to launch the tool and to deploy the agents.

Is it looking for a specific UNC path perhaps? I know that I can copy the installer and masthead file to each individual system, but that’s kind of a pain (especially given the number of systems that are throwing the error.)
