Fixlet for MS KB 979495

Has anyone authored a fixlet for this KB? I don’t want to apply the KB unless it’s needed, and not sure how to detect if it’s relevant.

No, we currently did not create a Fixlet for this KB. We normally only create Fixlets for the monthly Security Bulletin (security updates) and service packs, while updates such as these will only be created if we decide it’s necessary. Contact support if you really need us to create a Fixlet for it, and then it will be decided if it’s something we will need to provide.

As for detecting if it’s relevant for a computer, a simple relevance can be something like this:

exists file "Netlogon.dll" whose (version of it < ") of system folder
