Does anyone know why I might have a client that throws this error in it’s BES log?

“Failed to load encryption certificate from masthead; optional encryption; sending report in cleartext.”

I don’t see this problem on our other clients.

I even sent a BES client reset task action to this machine, but it didn’t help. I also tried re-installing the BES agent, but that didn’t help either.

What OS is the agent running on (please include the specific version of the OS and the hardware architecture)?

Do you have “FIPS mode” turned on in your environment?

Have you ever re-generated your encryption keys using BES Admin?

Windows XP SP3 32-bit

FIPS is enabled
