Extract command on Windows Mobile 6.5

(imported topic written by symbios91)

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to deploy some files onto Windows Mobile 6.5 devices and have some issues with the extract command. As the TEM client is installed onto the phone memory instead of SD cards, i have difficulty fitting the extracted data into the small phone memory. Therefore i need to extract to another destination directory on the SD card. Is there a hidden switch for the extract command to accomplish this? If not, do you guys know of any free commandline unzip tool that can work on Windows Mobile 6.5? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, no… perhaps download and run the bfarchive tool and specify the folder?

Hi Ben,

Does bfarchive run on Windows Mobile 6.5? Alternatively, is there any client setting i can change to point the __Download folder to the SD Card?

I am not sure… I think if it runs Windows binaries, then it will work, but I haven’t tried it myself.

You can’t change the __Download folder, but you can try to reinstall the agent on the SD card…
