At the beginning of my BES deployment, i created a master operator account named “arnaud”. Using this account on the BES Console, i added external sites to the BES Console, using the “Manage Sites”/"“Add External Site…” menu.
Today, i created a new master operator account, with a different name, and removed the account “arnaud”.
As a result, all the external sites added with this old account disappeared from the BES Console !!!
Is there any reason for this, and a way to avoid such trouble ?
Good question ! Sure it was a 7.x.x.x, i think it was 7.0.1.346 or something like that.
Maybe there is a place in the database where i can find such information ?
At the present time, the BES Server and all components run on 7.0.9.164
What is really odd is that i also created custom sites, tasks, baselines and analyses, and this content didn’t disappear from the BES Console. Only the external sites disappeared from the BES Console.
And when i added back again the missing external sites, the information in the reader tab was the same as before they disappear (the list of reader operators was good), but not the information in the subscription tab !
