Expired patches

I deployed patches to a user but the patches expired. It’s still showing “pending restart”

Can the user still get those updates after restarting even though the patch expired?

If the Action expired, no new clients will execute the action, and no status updates will be sent from the clients that already executed it.

If the action result was “pending restart”, those clients already executed the action. If the patches had some file replacements scheduled to occur during next reboot, that will still happen; but action status updates (from “Pending Restart” to “Fixed/Failed”) will not be sent. That patches may have completed but you will not see that status at the Console, and instead would need to check whether the source Fixlets are still applicable after the clients reboot.
