I am at a POC where the majority of the endpoints are Solaris x86/SPARC, with some RHEL and HP-UX in the mix. Yesterday we tried to use the *NIX Client Deployment Tool (the April 16, 2012 version) to install to Solaris x86 and SPARC, and RHEL 6. In all instances, when the tool attempts to connect to the machine to determine the O/S, the following error is displayed:
invalid server’s version String
Any ideas on what causes this error?
The tool is being run on a Windows 2008 R2 machine, and we have selected to use sudo to perform the installation.
