Error in download Windows patches

(imported topic written by XKEJ_Giorgio_Masseroni)

I’ve created a baseline with about 30 fixlets (Windows Patch) and submit it to one Endpoint.

It remains in “Pending Downloads” for about 15 fixlets with the following error:

Download error: “Windows Error 800c0007: No data is available for the requested resource.”

Can you manually hit that url in a browser from your TEM server? Do you have a proxy that may be hindering the download? (We have to get a special BlueCoat proxy exception for the TEM server in our environment to allow unauthenticated downloads.)

Hi Jon,

The problem isn’t the proxy. I’ve read others similar reply message; one of these advised to reboot the TEM server.

After the reboot others 3 patch are downloaded, after that the same error has blocked the baseline on the another patch.

I 've rebooted another time the TEM server and all the patches are downloaded, now it is running on execution of the patches. I’d like to understand what is the problem. I can not reboot the TEM server any time that I want to deploy a new patch.

Thanks
