After the install of the aforementioned update to the Bigfix application server, users began getting “Failed to connect to https://myBigfixserver:52311: HTTP 401: Unauthorized”, and a similar error worded slightly different when attempting a logon of a local Bigfix user account. Once the update was removed logins worked correctly.

Something we had recently with the April OS cumulative from a completely unrelated (to BigFix) product, was using shortname vs. FQDN for authentication requests. I wasn’t involved on this, but my understanding of was it was causing a resource load on the Domain Controller when using shortname. I see you are showing a shortname, try the FQDN instead.
