There are currently fixlets to enabled / disable this on WinXP. Will these be extended to Win7 as well?

Probably not. We looked into this extensively before, and Windows Vista and later do not behave as they did in XP. Before, editing registry keys would enable this functionality no problem, but Vista and later do not obey the registry keys, only obeying group policies and manually set settings.

Hmm, so could the fixlets set the group policy keys?

We can do it via GP, but that’s true of many things we do in TEM. Would just be nice if it were all in one place.
