EDR_DeploymentResults.txt says 2MB more space needed

Recently I had several Linux Patches fail and discovered that the /var filesystem needed 2MB of additional space to complete the operation. Researching space allotments on my server, I discovered that in the /var folder, 1.6G cache, 1.3G opt, 372M lib and 287M in spool. I’m trying to determine where and what files that I can delete in order to continue deploying patches.

BESClient itself keeps a cache there. Perhaps you could reduce your download cache size a bit, and deploy smaller patch baselines until the system is caught up?

I’m looking at /var/opt/BESClient and see 667M __BESData, 354M centosr2yum and 38M LMT

Thank you. So when I deploy baselines to my clients, I need to stagger them and allow them to finish before executing another baseline

Not necessarily all the time, but with only 2 MB more space needed you are right on the edge.
