Editing Automatic Groups

I am just starting to play with automatic groups and I notice that there doesn’t appear to be a way of editing a group’s relevance or renaming a group which has been created by another Console Operator (Edit Group Properties… is greyed out). Is this correct or am I missing something very simple.

Hey Rod,

Yes. That is correct. By-design, you can only edit your own groups.

Note that as a master operator, you can remove anyone’s group or create a copy of the group and edit it yourself.

If you want to have multiple operators able to make changes to a group, you can create a custom site and put the group in the custom site. Anybody with write rights on the custom site will then be able to edit the group. Anybody with read rights will be able to use it.

Thanks for the explanation guys. Personally I would have thought a Master Operator would be able to modify a group created by a Console Operator, but I will try the custom site workaround.
