Does BES-Server work with DHCP assigned IP

Hi,

I have machine which has DHCP assigned IP. Could I install the BES server on this machine because the IP might be changing intermittently and BES client communicate with the Server based on IP(which was assgined during the installation).

Please suggest.

It is definitely not recommended… I think you should treat your BigFix Server like a real production server and desktop conveniences like DHCP will cause you pains on servers…
