Detect devices connected to PC

Was wondering if anybody have had hands on the fixlet to detect printers or scanners connected to PCs??

Umm…not much scanner gets left though.

How about CD-Writers…can I just identify the brand/make…need not disable it.

Hey prasadk,

Check out the analysis “Hardware Information (Windows)” on the BES License and Inventory Fixlet site. There is a default “CD-ROM” property that will give you the info on the drives.
