Deploy to non windows clients

We have installed BigFix on Windows 2008. We now need to roll out the BES Client to Unix and Linux servers. Can the client deploy tool that was installed on windows do that or do I need to use a different client deploy tool for Unix and Linus

I believe the tool installed with the Installation Generator is Windows only.

It will allow you to use SSH to push the client to Mac and Linux systems.

There’s another version of the *nix client deploy tool that also supports Windows.

The Agent deployment tool is also in the BigFix Labs site and allows you to push from relays/server etc. It’s actually pretty nice once you’ve got it working!
