What is the estimated size for the IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager Database given an implementation of approximately 100,000 computers?
Our company is looking forward to setup a deployment of IBM BigFix on every single end point. As I’m interested to just take an estimated ideas that what would be the size of database for 100000 endpoints.

The size of the database will depend on a great many factors other than just the number of endpoints. For instance, another very important element to consider is the expected usage and content (Patch, Inventory, Security, etc…). As such, depending on usage, I’d estimate that the BigFix database would be between 50 and 150 GB.

As Aram points out, the size will depends on factors such as how many custom properties you may create, what sites the clients are subscribed to, what sites your license is entitled to use, how frequently new systems are deployed or existing systems re-imaged for break fix and any DB housekeeping such as deleting out expired records. I would echo Aram’s figure though you could also see as low as 30GB for 100k endpoints for basic patch and application.
