Custom Site Subscription Relevance

I have a question.
When setting up custom site is is okay to set the site subscription based on another custom site?
Or would it be better to define specific relevance for the site.
Reason I ask is this I have set up a custom site based on being a member of two other custom sites.
However when I look in the console at the detail tab it says "Subscribed Sites(Old Version) contains "custom site name"
The save change is also highlighted all the time.

If I use OS Contains “OS name” then then the Save changes button is greyed out once I have saved the changes as I would expect

You can use any relevance you like, but be aware that order of relevance can catch you badly here. If the Subscriptions to the other custom sites don’t process before your subscription to that custom site then you will have to wait until the content loops again so the memberships won’t be tied that well together.

Generally we recommend memberships of groups or sites to be based off some other external group or setting or such so that both memberships come valid or are revoked at the same time (or close)
