It is not clear to me, is this for a fixlet that was created from scratch, or one that was altered, or both?

I first thought this was meant for a fixlet that was made from scratch, but the use of the words “custom” and “customized” do not make this clear.

Looks like completely custom according the terms and conditions of the contest. Full terms and conditions here:

According to the contest committee, the rules of the contest have changed. You are no longer required to provide points #2 and #5 as mentioned above.

Here’s the new banner found in the contest page:

And as far as I know, the contest is open to new Fixlets (made from scratch) and customized ones.

Thanks for the question. Sorry if the contest info was not very clear. You can talk about a Fixet that was altered or a Fixlet that was created from the scratch. As long as a Fixlet is created by you or an existing Fixlet is altered by you (or someone in your organization and you have the permission to mention it) the entry stands valid. So please go ahead and share your story even if it’s just a small modification you did on an existing Fixlet and achieved better results.

i get an access denied in step 2

(imported comment written by KarenKue)

Hi Michael,

Apologies, I overlooked a step. Unfortunately, even after setting the access rights to the general public, this didn’t apply to blogs. Turns out that blog contributions are designed only for members of the community. One needs to join the community before he/she can contribute to the page.

I’ve modified the steps to reflect this. Truly sorry for the inconvenience.
