Is there any guidelines on console latency requirements ? We are planning to install IEM console on citrix server which is on cloud. Need to make decision on whether to shift the console ‘far’ from IEM server.

I don’t believe there is any “Official Documentation”, but it’s been my experience that the Console wants to have fairly low latency when communicating with the Server Database.
There is a setting you can configure that will help avoid communication timeouts, but I suspect that setting the value too high may cause poor Console performance.
The console doesn’t communicate with the DB directly since 8.2 so its latency to the BigFix RootServer that matters the most.
