The download plugin works on the Windows platform.
I don’t think so.[quote=“Mayank, post:1, topic:17799”]

Is that your IEM server that you cannot see ?
Is it download plugin works for windows only??
I think it’s more a matter that the download plug-in should execute on your root server, not on a relay. Or are you using a configuration where you want a top-level relay to perform Internet downloads?
Actually our Main IEM Server is some different geographic location and we want to patch the machines(both Windows and Non Windows) that are located in some other location and these machines do not have direct connectivity to our main IEM server.
And these machines are coming via DMZ relay.
Please let me know if i can still do the patching with the same configuration.
Sure, in fact that’s a very normal configuration. The way it works is that the client action triggers a download request, the request is forwarded up the relay chain to the root server, the root server performs the download using the Red Hat Download Plug-In, and the downloads are cached down through the relay chain to the client.
