Computer not reported but ping OK

Hi,

About 200 computers maybe more has reported at least one time to the BES root server, but they don’t report anymore.

The strange thing is, all of them, reply to all ping requests and the ESP agent is running.

70% of computers (7200)belong to a domain attached to each country and 30% (2000) are in workgroup.

Most of computers get there IP from DHCP.

What can i do ? I can’t take the hand on each computer that would be insane :stuck_out_tongue:

I would start by checking the BES Client log files from a few of them, there is probably a shared problem. Start with the simple things to look for like:

  1. Is the agent running?

  2. Can it resolve the dns for the BES Server?

  3. Are there errors in the log?
