Client properties not reporting

Few BES clients report back to the server for some of the properties as “”. The properties include the Computer Name, IP Address, Operating system, etc., and the clients include Windows XP, Windows 2003 & Windows 2000. What exactly causes this inconsistency and how to resolve this? Most of these clients are running the latest BES cient version - 7.2.5.22.

Hi Mahesh,

Are you running the BES Client Computer Removal tool? If so, you might be deleting the data for computers that come back online (such as if the user was on vacation for a few weeks).

I recommend running that tool very rarely.

Send a refresh to those clients to get all their data back.

Thanks Ben, that resolved the issue. But, when should one use the tool to cleanup the database and how often should this be run?
