Hi All, I am facing an issue where an some old patches belonging to 2012, 2013 are being deployed and client status shows ‘pending download’. I validated the sha1 value to be correct and when checked the client logs it shows “Download false”. Would there be a way to validate if the patches exist on the relays and also on the root and if it exist then why I see logs showing “download False”. Please suggest on this.
Looks like you have problems in the downloading the path file required by the action. First check the action summary on the console, the download section should result “cached on server” or it could contain an error message. If errors, then test the URL of the downloading file (see the action details) in a browser to make sure the file still exists. If the file has been successfully downloaded by the server, then you have to investigate the relay chain that the agent is connected to. The besrelay.log is the file to investigate errors.
I might add that you can check the BigFix server and cache locations for the file by searching for the file by the Sha1 hash… More here:
