Hi

Please check below given

What do the errors in the Client Deploy Tool mean

Regrads,

in order to successfully deploy clients, you need the following:

  1. machine should be online
  2. you must have admin privileges on the client
  3. admin$ shares must be enabled
  4. remote registry must be enabled
  5. local firewall must enable traffic from the deployment server

when you install the client locally, is it successful?

Remote registry needs to be enabled? Considering it is set to manual by default, that’s not helpful.

I’m trying to deploy to lab machines that have a common LOCAL admin account (these are not on a Windows domain) and at first I thought it was because the tool doesn’t work with local creds (and maybe it doesn’t), but let me check the Remote Registry service.

That information may be fore another Client Deploy tool so not sure it applies?

The tool works with local admin account, but you will need to have all pre-requisites in place.

what are all the pre-requisites?
