Changing type of existing BES user account

Dear all,

we have some changed responsibilities in our infrastructure.

I now need to change a non master operator in a master operator role

I need to change a current master operator in a standard user role.

Currently, it looks like I need to delete and recreate these users, which will stop all pending actions.

Any hints how to avoid this ?

Hi Rolf, unfortunately you will not be able to change the permission levels of your users. If you try to delete and recreate the user you will get an error message telling you that you can’t change the permissions level of the operator. You can re-create deleted operators but they must maintain their original role.

I would suggest creating a new account for these users and append on a logical phrase for their new role.

Example: myop -> myop_mop or myop_mstr
