Change the ClientUI icon on Mac?

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

Is is possible to change the ClientUI icon with the Mac client? I’m using v8.2.

I’m trying to keep my user documentation consistent and would like to use a Custom icon on both Windows and Mac.

Under Windows, I have created a _clientui.ico file with the appropriate icons. Works well under Windows. Can I do the same thing with the Mac client?

Assuming you want to use the same custom _clientui.ico file that you used on your Windows installs, you need to convert the .ico file to a .icns format. Then you can replace the default icon at /Library/BESAgent/BESAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/BESClientUI.app/Contents/Resources/BigFixIcons.icns with your custom icns file. Restart the agent and it should now appear in the menu bar with your custom icon.

We used this site to convert our ico to icns format: http://iconverticons.com/online/

I have the same situation. I haven’t figured it out yet.
