I am looking at the CentOS patching sites and see that there are several sets of fixlets in which the names of the fixlets are identical; however when looking at the descriptions see that they each address a separate set of packages.
For example:
They are all named identically but all address updates to different packages, for example fixlet # 160161201 updates the following target RPM’s:
And fixlet # 160161201 updates the following target RPM’s:
And so on and so forth.
There are other sets of fixlets that follow this same pattern in which the name of the fixlet does not differ.
Is there are reason the fixlet name was not made more unique to represent which packages are to be updated?
