CDT issue for remote client deployment for windows

Hi, i m facing issue while deploying agent on windows servers using CDT point , some of windows servers are able to connect with the domain credentials and on the same network some are showing error "could not connect with server" , though ID has been added to local admin group.

have checked

  • port 445 is opened from endpoint server to CDT server
  • Remote registry service is working on the failed target

not able to find out the log or reason why servers not able to connect via CDT tool and showing could not connect error

When you run the fixlet “Install IBM Bigfix Clients with Client Deploy Tool”, CDT will be placed into:

  • On Windows: <BES Console dir>\BESClientDeploy\
    By default: "c:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Console\BESClientDeploy\"

  • On Linux: "/var/opt/BESClientDeployTool/"

There you may find a file BESClientDeployTool.log with an additional information about a failed Client install

Client logs are located in a <BESClientDeployTool>\ClientLogs\ subdir
