We’re migrating our SW catalog from the Software Knowledge Base Toolkit (SwKBTk) but have discovered the migration tool doesn’t include the “Change history details” data that was in SwKBTk. This is a problem for us because the change authorization (e.g. PCR/ECR/WR) was captured in SwKBTk in the “Change history details” field. There doesn’t seem to be a way of migrating this field into BFI.
Help please.

BFI does not have “Change history” as SwKBT did, so those values are not migrated.
I understand that. My question was more about what can be done. Can a field be added to the SW Catalog in BFI and then the change history added back in?
Any thoughts on adding a new field to the SW Catalog?
It is not possible to do add custom field to catalog. Such data will have to be tracked outside of BFI.
