Branding the BES web reports in BES 7.0

(imported topic written by QXVH_Charles_Brown)

Greetings,

In previous version of BES ( < 7.0) there was a docmented process which allowed for company branding using header_overwrite, Header2_overwrite and the layout.css.

Looks like some things changed.

Is there some sort of documented process to brand the web reports?

Thanks

Hey cbrown,

Some of the changes in 7.0 made the web reports branding no longer work, but we are re-adding the customization capability (with a couple more options) into our newest 7.0.9 build that should be released very shortly and we will update the documenation on how to do the customization.

Hey Chuck,

I should probably clarify… We changed some things in BigFix 7.0 that made the previous customizations work differently. In all versions of 7.0, you can still change the graphics and the css by changing the files at:

\BESReportsServer\wwwroot\images\besreports\ENU

\BESReportsServer\wwwroot\css\besreports\ENU

Starting in 7.0.9.164 (to be released shortly), you can also “inject” HTML in the header and in the footer of the page. This allows for additional customization opportunities.
