We would like to and are attempting to make our IEM test (and hopefully production) environment more robust with a desired goal of automating as much of the install and configuration of the BES Server as possible from scratch. In currently mapping this out, the provisioning of a new app server and the configuration of the BES server after the BES server install looks like it can be mostly automated and seems fairly straightforward. However, installing the BES Server via the .exe and having to click through the config appears to be the one step that will stop this process from being completely automated.
The Linux Server has a silent install/answers file solution:
[Linux Main Server Silent Install][1]
Linux unfortunately is not an option for us (unless there is a migration path from MSSQL to DB2 that we are unaware of), so we are wondering if there is a silent install option for installing the BES Server on Windows? Possibly undocumented?
