I have a few hundred clients which autoselect to the same besrelay server that also have the same maintenance window.
Randomly over 200 clients may try to download from the same relay at the same time causing some of the bes clients to fail to download their updates.
- all of the servers that fail are Win2012R2 all going for the same download patch from the relay.
- the relay has already downloaded the patch from the bigfix server in the past as it was used for updating systems for the previous 5 hrs. and successfully updated over a hundred other servers during this same window.
- the action info is: A required download failed.
I have increased the retry counts etc, however still potentially 20-50 clients fail download.
Is there any way to get the clients to reselect their relay as there are 3 other relays which are not as heavily used during that same time?
