With the release of BigFix 11.0.6 and the introduction of the Platform MCP Server, we are looking into integrating BigFix with AI-driven assistants to streamline our endpoint query and automation workflows.
Our team is particularly focused on the Microsoft AI ecosystem, and we have a few questions regarding compatibility, supported clients, and best practices:
1. Supported & Validated MCP Clients
While the official documentation highlights GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code as a validated setup, what is the current validation or support status for:

GitHub Copilot (Enterprise/Business deployments)
2. Standard MCP Compliance
Is the BigFix MCP Server fully compliant with the standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) specification, such that any MCP-compatible client is expected to work out of the box (provided it supports remote streamable HTTP over HTTPS and custom headers)?
3. Authentication & Configuration in MS Copilot
Since the BigFix MCP Server requires passing the operator token via Authorization: Bearer <token> alongside custom control headers (e.g., X-Bes-Mcp-Read-Only), are there any known prerequisites, limitations, or best practices when configuring Microsoft Copilot Studio or M365 Copilot to dynamically pass these session headers?
4. Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Compatibility
For write-capable operations, the BigFix MCP Server relies on MCP Form Elicitation for user confirmation. Do Microsoft Copilot platforms support Form Elicitation out of the box? If an AI client lacks this UI capability, is it correct that the integration will be strictly limited to read-only operations?
