Does BigFix inventory identify licensed software installed in environment. if yes, request you to please guide (URL or video)
BFI will show you the software installed in the environment. You have to go through and configure it to tell you what licenses you have though if you want to do a license compliance.
And with the latest changes to software licensing (network license, subscriptions, etc), BFI is not as “total solution” as I wish it was. It does a great job of collecting the installed applications, but doesn’t do well in the contracts and decision driving data side of the need.
