Anyone is using bigfix inventory management module?
from documentations, I see it’s only useful as software and hardware discovery, is it true… can it be used to get other usefu information, I mean full discovery (network, FS, HW , …)
Perhaps there are other benefits, but BigFix Inventory is mainly focused around the Software Titles, Usage and Contracts. Some of the components are duplicated between Lifecycle Management, so if you don’t need software tracking then you skip it.
I can share my stories of expectations, installations, and results if you want to PM me. You’ll want to be sure to understand the limitations before you commit to it.
